Flamingo Pier Live
Born and raised in New Zealand but schooled in London, Flamingo Pier may well be the southern hemisphere’s best kept secret. The trio – Luke Walker, Dom Jones and Brad Craig – first gained attention in 2015 with their debut EP on France’s Kitsuné label, followed by an acclaimed self-titled EP on Soundway Records in 2019. Their 2021 debut album topped the iTunes New Zealand Dance Chart, with collaborations including jazz legend Nathan Haines.
In 2023, Flamingo Pier released Beneath The Neon on Razor-N-Tape, featuring Nigerian disco icon Steve Monite and earning praise from Rolling Stone as “dancefloor legends.” Their globally inspired sound has since reached millions of listeners, with tracks including Hold It and Tripping Up surpassing 5 million streams and appearing across compilations, film and television. Their live show has evolved into a polished five-piece act, touring extensively across Europe, the U.S., New Zealand and Australia, with standout performances at venues including the Troubadour in Los Angeles and festivals such as Rhythm & Vines.
2026 marks a new chapter with Woven Together, their second album and the first they have written, produced and released entirely themselves. Due out in October, the album will be followed by a New Zealand tour and Australian dates, as Flamingo Pier bring their dancefloor-built sound to new audiences at home and abroad.
Lee Martin
Lee Martin is a New Zealand singer-songwriter celebrated for her evocative storytelling, soulful voice, and genre-blending sound. An “old soul” with a modern edge, Martin’s music explores vulnerability, resilience, and the quiet complexities of the human experience. Her latest single, I’d Change It All (2026), has quickly gained momentum online and was recently performed live on Newstalk ZB Breakfast with Mike Hosking, who praised her performance.
Her fourth studio album, Marlene, is Martin’s most personal work to date, reaching #4 on the New Zealand charts following its release in June 2026. Named after her birth name, the album explores different chapters of her life through deeply honest songwriting and a distinctive blend of country-soul, folk, Americana, and blues. Its sold-out album release show at The Piano in Christchurch was followed by further live performances, building on the success of her previous album Dreamers Dawn (2024), which debuted at #5 on the Official Aotearoa Music Charts and was also launched with a sold-out show at The Piano.
Across three studio albums, Martin has built a reputation as one of New Zealand’s most authentic independent artists, earning chart success, international radio play, critical acclaim and sold-out shows. Her 2022 album Gypsy Soul debuted in the NZ Top 20, while its single What If I Die was named Muzic.net’s Top Single of 2021 and received international playlisting. From folk and Americana to soul, blues and country, Martin continues to transcend genre while remaining fiercely committed to honest songwriting and meaningful connection with her audience.
Minnie Robberds
Minnie Robberds is the self-titled solo project of the Ōtautahi-born singer-songwriter Minnie Robberds. Minnie is one of the frontwomen of the Aotearoa Indie band, There’s A Tuesday. Throughout years of touring and writing alongside the band, she has quietly been refining a set of songs that don’t fit a band arrangement. Instead, the songs on her forthcoming EP are soft, raw, and sparse, relying heavily on storytelling and a sense of tenderness.
