The New World Wine & Food festival returns for the second year to celebrate the wineries of the South Island region, and their status as New Zealand's representative on the prestigious Great Wine Capitals Global Network.
We've selected fifty leading wineries from Central Otago, Canterbury, Waipara, Nelson, and Marlborough to showcase their wines, and over 30 food exhibitors, chefs and restaurateurs will be plating up their best culinary dishes on the day.
A range of on site features including wine seminars and cooking exhibitions hosted by industry experts will be a prominent part of the festival, and with live entertainment from some of New Zealand’s leading musicians, the New World Wine & Food Festival is a great way to start Christchurch's summer festive season.

They include a wide range from the big wineries right down to the small and boutique.

Food Exhibitors announcedMore than 40 gourmet food vendors, representing some of the South Island’s leading chefs and restaurateurs, will be on site to provide the perfect complement to the great range of wines. Their food will range from super delicious to the strange and exotic, but there should be something for everyone. |
